Deactivating Facebook

Facebook is considered the most successful social networking site. Everyone has an account with the Facebook. Some people just can't sleep or eat without checking the Facebook. With iphone and android smartphone, the situation became worst where you can access the Facebook everywhere on the planet.



The decision to deactivate the Facebook account came across my mind when I noticed my friends were sticking the smartphone onto their face whenever we gather around which annoyed me and other friends.

It has been 60 days plus since the first day I deactivate my Facebook account with more than 200 friends and family(real friends). The first person to ask me about my Facebook account was after 20 days of the deactivation. I told them about it and I was labeled as ABNORMAL. Am I?

Can’t Claim MyBlog, Blog on Technorati

After days of figuring out why the technorati failed to claim some website, finally I found the reason. The main reason is that the technorati claim will failed if the URL is directed.

For example:- You are redirecting http://google.com to http://www.google.com

For browser, user will be directed to http://www.google.com and for technorati, it will get 301 Moved Permanently.

Mid Valley Food Junction

The Mid Valley Food Function supposed to be a very pleasent place for shoppers to have meals after long hours of shopping. After a few times i went to the Mid Valley Food Junction, I noticed that the price is above average than others food court like Oasis.

Is this because they offer a better food? NO! the food there is even worst than others food court and the portion is also smaller than others. The worst thing is that the people working around is very impolite.

Besides that, eating at the Food Junstion is like eating at the squatters.

Public Bank is worst than i Thought

My impression of the Public Bank Malaysia is Fast, Efficiency and reliable. However, after having to print a simple 6 months statement. The Public Bank is worst than I can imagine.

I have a saving account at Public Bank, Kepong Branch and I worked near Mid Valley. I need a bank statement to apply a loan. SO i went to the Bangsar Branch. To my surprise, the Bangsar branch's officer told me that I only can print the statement at Kepong branch where I opened the account.

So the next day i went to Kepong Branch. To my Extreme Surprise, the officer told me to fill up a form and wait for next day. I was...Argghhhh!!! How can this kind of system still exist in 2009!! We are not in 80's or 90's.

At the same time, I also requested a bank statement from CIMB. It took me 5 minutes with a pleasant officer with RM1 per page. Public Bank is charging me RM10 + RM2 per page.

Even citibank has error!

Just checking email and found a marketing email sent by the citibank. I wanted to delete the email and unsubscribe the email from citibank. After i clicked on the unsubscribe link, the citibank has displayed an error page.

I wonder it was a trick did on purposely to prevent people from unsubscribing or it was really an error.
